Webelos Announcement

Posted on Nov 18 2013 - 11:56pm

Webelos Scouts, we have a few more opportunities to visit with our area Boy Scout Troops. These are also great opportunities for parents to learn the difference between Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. The remaining events we know about (and there will be more) are: Troop 214 has a Webelos Troop Night visit planned for Dec. 10 at LifePoint Scout Hut from 7:00 to 8:30 and their Webelos Campout Dec. 13-15 at Worth Ranch, and Troop 170 has a Lock-In planned for Dec. with details to come. Other area Troops have asked that we just drop in on one of their meetings to see how they go. For more information on any of these events or contact info for area Troops, please contact Traci Goldsberry.

Keller's Holly Days Parade - Dec. 6

Posted on Nov 18 2013 - 11:55pm

Mark your calendars now! The Keller Holly Days Parade is Dec. 6. Our Scout Pack will participate in the parade with a float and walkers handing out candy. We will need all of those participating to arrive between 5 and 5:30 PM as they start lining up the floats around 5:30. This will be the third time our Pack's participated and it is great way to kick off the Christmas Season. An added bonus is that we get to support our community. We need a good idea of who plans to participate so we know how many vehicles we need in the parade, so keep a look out for an Evite for you to RSVP.

Indy Cub 500 at the December Pack Meeting, Dec. 19

Each Scout will need: shoes with laces, socks, goggles or sunglasses, and an Indy Cub car (made out of a cardboard box or boxes).
